Mr. Noel Fulkerson
Music
Noel Fulkerson is in his 47th year as a music educator after retiring as Choral Director at Raytown High School in 1998. In his thirty years at Raytown High School, his musical groups were honored by performances at national, divisional, and state music meeting and received No. I ratings for 30 consecutive years at the State MSHSAA Music Festival.
In addition to his teaching at St. Mary's, Mr. Fulkerson has a voice studio, and directs three community groups - The Northland Community Choir, The Raytown Community Choir, and is the founder and artistic director of the Kansas City Metro Men's Chorus. He is an active choral clinician and adjudicator.
As a music educator, he is a strong advocate of a comprehensive education for every student, and has strong faith in the value of the fine arts within the school curriculum. The importance of working together toward a single goal within in a creative atmosphere is an essential component that should be available to every student within any school system - public or private.
Mr. Fulkerson is married and lives in Independence with his wife, Carolyn and his two Border Collies, Millie and Dodger.
